Frequently Asked Questions

Firstly, scaffolding is safer than ladders. A properly built scaffold will provide a solid working platform at exactly the right height for the tradesmen using it. They can stand on a level surface behind a double guardrail protecting them. It provides them with space to store materials and tools they’re using, rather than having to go up and down the ladder swapping things over constantly. They will be able to work much faster and provide a better finish.

We are fully insured with Public Liability and Employers Liability to £10,000,000, so you can rest assured both you and our workers are covered.

CISRS stands for Construction Industry Scaffolders Recognition Scheme. This is a qualification that proves a scaffolder has been trained and assessed to a minimum level of competency depending on the level of qualification. These are Labourer, Part 1 (trainee scaffolder), Part 2 (competent scaffolder), Advanced (advanced scaffolder).

Our prices depend entirely upon the job. Please get in touch for a free no-obligation quote.

All our quotes include erection, stripping and 4 weeks hire as standard (8 for temporary roofs). There are no hidden costs, once your hire term is up we'll email you to let you know.

No. We are not insured to work on another firms job. It is also not our property and no reputable company will strip it or take it away.

We include 4 weeks as standard with our scaffolds (8 for temporary roofs). This is because the weather and other construction-related issues often cause short delays to projects. The cost for us is in preparation, transport and labour so we do not offer a discount for shorter hire periods. If you think you'll need a scaffold for longer then we're always happy to work out the best possible deal.

If your scaffold needs to be erected on the pavement or highway we'll arrange the appropriate licence with your local authority.
